Once upon a time… 28 years ago, I was born, in the lovely kingdom of Fife. Growing up I was a creative little thing, always drawing and making things. I carried my creative passion right throughout school and then after a year studying Art and Design at College I was lucky to be accepted into Art School in Aberdeen where I specialised in Textile Design. After graduating I moved to Edinburgh and set up my own craft business and have since been a busy bumble bee - designing and selling my work freelance, working for Coats Crafts as a design consultant and workshop tutor, holding events and running clubs, teaching in education and writing books!

I always try to add an element of fun and humour in all the work that I do especially in my publications. After all, being creative is all about having fun whilst learning new skills, experimenting and exploring the endless possibilities!
