I Love Knitting

I really wanted to produce a bigger version of ‘Pub knitting’ that would again introduce knitting in a fun, exciting and light hearted way and that would give confidence to and inspire any first timer or experienced knitter. I was lucky to be approached in 2006 by Kyle Cathie ltd publishers to create such a book and along came ‘I Love Knitting’. As well as a “How To Knit” section, my second book includes 25 easy to follow and quirky project ideas such as chunky slippers, a knitted corsage, a matching hat and glove set, a tea cosy and even a knitted laptop case. It also features my lighthearted “10 Things You Can Do with Needles and Wool” inserts and inspirational visuals throughout.

Charlotte (author of Stitch and Sparkle) and I felt that there was a gap in the market for a book introducing young people to traditional and contemporary techniques in a fun and exciting way.
